Genesis 23:1-6

WBT 1 And Sarah was a hundred and twenty-seven years old: [these were] the years of the life of Sarah. NIV 1 Sarah lived to be a hundred and twenty-seven years old. WBT 2 And Sarah died in Kirjath-arba; the same [is] Hebron in the land of Canaan: And Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her. NIV 2 She died at Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham went to mourn for Sarah and to weep over her. WBT 3 And Abraham stood up from before his dead, and spoke to the sons of Heth, saying, NIV 3 Then Abraham rose from beside his dead wife and spoke to the Hittites. He said, WBT 4 I [am] a stranger and a sojourner with you; give me a possession of a burying-place with you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight NIV 4 "I am an alien and a stranger among you. Sell me some property for a burial site here so I can bury my dead. WBT 5 And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying to him, NIV 5 The Hittites replied to Abraham, WBT 6 Hear us, my lord; thou [art] a mighty prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchers bury thy dead: none of us will withhold from thee his sepulcher, but that thou mayest bury thy dead. NIV 6 "Sir, listen to us. You are a mighty prince among us. Bury your dead in the choicest of our tombs. None of us will refuse you his tomb for burying your dead."
