Mark 4:37-39

NLT 37 But soon a fierce storm arose. High waves began to break into the boat until it was nearly full of water. NIV 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. NLT 38 Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. Frantically they woke him up, shouting, "Teacher, don't you even care that we are going to drown?" NIV 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?" NLT 39 When he woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the water, "Quiet down!" Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. NIV 39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
