Matthew 15:29-39

NRS 29 After Jesus had left that place, he passed along the Sea of Galilee, and he went up the mountain, where he sat down. NIV 29 Jesus left there and went along the Sea of Galilee. NIV 33 His disciples answered, "Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?" NRS 34 Jesus asked them, "How many loaves have you?" They said, "Seven, and a few small fish." NIV 34 "How many loaves do you have?" Jesus asked. "Seven," they replied, "and a few small fish." NRS 35 Then ordering the crowd to sit down on the ground, NIV 35 He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. NRS 36 he took the seven loaves and the fish; and after giving thanks he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. NIV 36 Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. NRS 37 And all of them ate and were filled; and they took up the broken pieces left over, seven baskets full. NIV 37 They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. NRS 38 Those who had eaten were four thousand men, besides women and children. NIV 38 The number of those who ate was four thousand, besides women and children. NRS 39 After sending away the crowds, he got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan. NIV 39 After Jesus had sent the crowd away, he got into the boat and went to the vicinity of Magadan.
