43 Y sacrificaron aquel día gran <I>número de</I> víctimas, e hicieron alegrías; porque Dios los había alegrado con gran gozo; se alegraron también las mujeres y los niños; y el alborozo de Jerusalén fue oído de lejos.

And on that day they offered great sacrifices, rejoicing because God had given them great joy. The women and children also rejoiced. The sound of rejoicing in Jerusalem could be heard far away.
