Proverbs 15:1-6

RSV 1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. NIV 1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. RSV 2 The tongue of the wise dispenses knowledge, but the mouths of fools pour out folly. NIV 2 The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.
