Psalm 119:33-40

CEB 33 LORD, teach me what your statutes are about, and I will guard every part of them. NRS 33 Teach me, O Lord, the way of your statutes, and I will observe it to the end. CEB 34 Help me understand so I can guard your Instruction and keep it with all my heart. NRS 34 Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart. CEB 35 Lead me on the trail of your commandments because that is what I want. NRS 35 Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it. CEB 36 Turn my heart to your laws, not to greedy gain. NRS 36 Turn my heart to your decrees, and not to selfish gain. CEB 37 Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things. Make me live by your way. NRS 37 Turn my eyes from looking at vanities; give me life in your ways. CEB 38 Confirm your promise to your servant— the promise that is for all those who honor you. NRS 38 Confirm to your servant your promise, which is for those who fear you. CEB 39 Remove the insults that I dread because your rules are good. NRS 39 Turn away the disgrace that I dread, for your ordinances are good. CEB 40 Look how I desire your precepts! Make me live by your righteousness. NRS 40 See, I have longed for your precepts; in your righteousness give me life.
