Psalm 130

WBT 1 A Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried to thee, O LORD. NIV 1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD; WBT 2 Lord, hear my voice: let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. NIV 2 O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. WBT 3 If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? NIV 3 If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? WBT 4 But [there is] forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. NIV 4 But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared. WBT 5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. NIV 5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. WBT 6 My soul [waiteth] for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: [I say], [more than] they that watch for the morning. NIV 6 My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning. WBT 7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD [there is] mercy, and with him [is] plenteous redemption. NIV 7 O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. WBT 8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. NIV 8 He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
