Psalm 92

NKJV 1 A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath day. It is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; NIV 1 It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, NKJV 2 To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night, NIV 2 to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, NKJV 3 On an instrument of ten strings, On the lute, And on the harp, With harmonious sound. NIV 3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. NKJV 4 For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands. NIV 4 For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; I sing for joy at the works of your hands. NKJV 5 O Lord, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep. NIV 5 How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts! NKJV 6 A senseless man does not know, Nor does a fool understand this. NIV 6 The senseless man does not know, fools do not understand, NKJV 7 When the wicked spring up like grass, And when all the workers of iniquity flourish, It is that they may be destroyed forever. NIV 7 that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be forever destroyed. NKJV 8 But You, Lord, are on high forevermore. NIV 8 But you, O LORD, are exalted forever. NKJV 9 For behold, Your enemies, O Lord, For behold, Your enemies shall perish; All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. NIV 9 For surely your enemies, O LORD, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered. NKJV 10 But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil. NIV 10 You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured upon me. NKJV 11 My eye also has seen my desire on my enemies; My ears hear my desire on the wicked Who rise up against me. NIV 11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes. NKJV 12 The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. NIV 12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; NKJV 13 Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God. NIV 13 planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. NKJV 14 They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing, NIV 14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, NKJV 15 To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. NIV 15 proclaiming, "The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him."
