Romans 1:1-6

CSB 1 Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle and singled out for God's good news- NIV 1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God-- CSB 2 which He promised long ago through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures- NIV 2 the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures CSB 3 concerning His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who was a descendant of David according to the flesh NIV 3 regarding his Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David, CSB 4 and was established as the powerful Son of God by the resurrection from the dead according to the Spirit of holiness. NIV 4 and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord. CSB 5 We have received grace and apostleship through Him to bring about the obedience of faith among all the nations, on behalf of His name, NIV 5 Through him and for his name's sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith. CSB 6 including yourselves who are also Jesus Christ's by calling: NIV 6 And you also are among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.
