Romans 3:27-31

NRS 27 Then what becomes of boasting? It is excluded. By what law? By that of works? No, but by the law of faith. NIV 27 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith. NRS 28 For we hold that a person is justified by faith apart from works prescribed by the law. NIV 28 For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law. NRS 29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, NIV 29 Is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, NRS 30 since God is one; and he will justify the circumcised on the ground of faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. NIV 30 since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. NRS 31 Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law. NIV 31 Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.
