John 10:17-18

17 ¹For this reason the Father loves me, ²because ³I lay down my life that I may take it up again.

18 ⁴No one takes it from me, but ⁵I lay it down ⁶of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and ⁷I have authority to take it up again. ⁸This charge I have received from my Father."
