and 1if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery."
Let the Children Come to Me
13 2And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples
3rebuked them.
14
But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them,
4"Let the children come to me; 5do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.
15
6Truly, I say to you, whoever does not 7receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it."

And
8he took them in his arms and blessed them,
9laying his hands on them.
The Rich Young Man
17 10And as he was setting out on his journey, a man ran up and
11knelt before him and asked him, "Good Teacher, what must I do to
12inherit eternal life?"

And Jesus said to him,
"Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.
19
You know the commandments: 13'Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.'"

And he said to him, "Teacher,
14all these I have kept from my youth."
21
And Jesus,
15looking at him,
16loved him, and said to him,
"You lack one thing: go, 17sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have 18treasure in heaven; and come, follow me."
22
19Disheartened by the saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
