Mark 10:6-9

6 But ¹from the beginning of creation, 'God made them ²male and female.'

7 ³'Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife,^[a]

8 and ⁴the two shall become one flesh.' So they are no longer two but one flesh.

9 ⁵What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate."
