Andimmediately he arose , took up the bed,and went forthbefore them all; insomuch that they wereallamazed , andglorifiedGod,saying* , Weneversaw it on this fashion.

And he went forthagainby the sea side;andall the multituderesorteduntohim,and he taughtthem.

And as he passed by , he sawLevi the son of Alphaeussittingat the receipt of custom,andsaid unto him,Followme.And he arose and followedhim.

And it came to pass , that, as Jesus sat at meatinhishouse,manypublicansandsinnerssatalso together withJesusandhisdisciples:for there weremany,and they followedhim.

And when the scribesandPhariseessawhimeatwithpublicansandsinners, they said unto hisdisciples,How is it that he eatethanddrinkethwithpublicansandsinners?

WhenJesusheard it, he saith unto them,They that are wholehavenoneed of the physician,but they that aresick: I camenot to call the righteous,butsinnerstorepentance.

And the disciples of Johnand of the Phariseesused to fast : and they comeandsay unto him, Why do* the disciples of Johnand of the Phariseesfast , butthydisciplesfastnot?

AndJesussaid unto them*, Can the children of the bridechamberfast , whilethebridegroomiswiththem? as long astheyhave the bridegroomwiththem, they cannot*fast .

But the days will come , when the bridegroom shall be taken awayfromthem,andthen shall they fastinthosedays.

No manalsoseweth a piece of newclothon an oldgarment:else the new piece that filled it up taketh awayfrom the old,and the rent is madeworse.

And no manputtethnewwineintooldbottles:else the newwine doth burst the bottles,and the wine is spilled , and the bottles will be marred : butnewwine must be putintonewbottles.
