Andsuddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more,saveJesusonlywiththemselves.

And as they came downfrom the mountain, he chargedthemthat they should tell no man what things they had seen, tilltheSon of man were risenfrom the dead.

And they kept that sayingwiththemselves, questioning one with anotherwhat the risingfrom the dead should mean.

And they askedhim,saying, Whysay the scribesthatEliasmustfirstcome?

And he answered and toldthem,Eliasverilycomethfirst, and restoreth all things;andhow it is writtenof the Son of man,that he must suffer many things,and be set at nought.

But I say unto you,ThatEliasisindeedcome, and they have done unto himwhatsoever they listed, as it is writtenofhim.

And when he cameto his disciples, he saw a greatmultitudeaboutthem,and the scribesquestioning with them.

Andstraightwayall the people, when they beheldhim, were greatly amazed, and running to him salutedhim.

And he asked the scribes,What question yewiththem[a]?

Andoneof the multitudeanswered and said, Master, I have broughtuntotheemyson, which hath a dumbspirit;

Andwheresoeverhetakethhim, he teareth[b]him:and he foameth, andgnasheth with histeeth,and pineth away: and I spake to thydisciplesthat they should casthimout; and they couldnot.
