When the morning was come , all the chief priestsandelders of the peopletookcounselagainstJesustoputhim to death :

And when they had boundhim, they led him away , anddeliveredhim to PontiusPilate the governor.

ThenJudas,which had betrayedhim, when he sawthat he was condemned , repented himself , and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priestsandelders,

Saying , I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocentblood.And they said , What is that tous?seethou to that.

And he cast down the pieces of silverin the temple, and departed , andwent and hanged himself .

And the chief prieststook the silver pieces, and said , It isnotlawful for to puttheminto the treasury,because it is the price of blood.
