Rodney Dillard was a key member of the progressive bluegrass group, The Dillards. The Dillards are perhaps best known for portraying the mute bluegrass musicians, The Darlings, in "The Andy Griffith Show." Rodney is now an ordained minister who, along with his regular concert work, does church programs celebrating Mayberry values. Rodney says, "Mayberry and its citizens can still teach us about a simple, yet rewarding, way of life. A good resolution each day would be to add a little Mayberry to our lives in the way we treat others and the value we place on our families. I hope you have a Mayberry life."
