Remove from me scorn1 and contempt, for I keep your statutes.223
Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees.
Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.
I am laid low in the dust;3 preserve my life4 according to your word.526
I recounted my ways and you answered me; teach me your decrees.627
Let me understand the teaching of your precepts; then I will meditate on your wonders.728
My soul is weary with sorrow;8 strengthen me9 according to your word.1029
Keep me from deceitful ways;11 be gracious to me12 through your law.
I have chosen13 the way of truth;14 I have set my heart15 on your laws.
I hold fast16 to your statutes, O LORD; do not let me be put to shame.
I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free.
