When I called,1 you answered me;2 you made me bold3 and stouthearted.4

May all the kings of the earth5 praise you, O LORD, when they hear the words of your mouth.

May they sing6 of the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the LORD7 is great.

Though the LORD is on high, he looks upon the lowly,8 but the proud9 he knows from afar.
7
Though I walk10 in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life;11 you stretch out your hand12 against the anger of my foes,13 with your right hand14 you save me.15
8
The LORD will fulfill [his purpose]16 for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever17-- do not abandon18 the works of your hands.19
