Their voicea goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.1 In the heavens he has pitched a tent2 for the sun,35
which is like a bridegroom4 coming forth from his pavilion,5 like a champion6 rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens7 and makes its circuit to the other;8 nothing is hidden from its heat.
The law of the LORD9 is perfect,10 reviving the soul.11 The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy,12 making wise the simple.138
The precepts of the LORD are right,14 giving joy15 to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.169
The fear of the LORD17 is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous.1810
They are more precious than gold,19 than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey,20 than honey from the comb.2111
By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults.2213
Keep your servant also from willful sins;23 may they not rule over me.24 Then will I be blameless,25 innocent of great transgression.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing26 in your sight, O LORD, my Rock27 and my Redeemer.28
