I can count all my bones; people stare1 and gloat over me.218
They divide my garments among them and cast lots3 for my clothing.419
But you, O LORD, be not far off;5 O my Strength,6 come quickly7 to help me.820
Deliver my life from the sword,9 my precious life10 from the power of the dogs.1121
Rescue me from the mouth of the lions;12 savea me from the horns of the wild oxen.1322
I will declare your name to my brothers; in the congregation14 I will praise you.1523
You who fear the LORD, praise him!16 All you descendants of Jacob, honor him!17 Revere him,18 all you descendants of Israel!
For he has not despised19 or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one;20 he has not hidden his face21 from him but has listened to his cry for help.2225
From you comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly;23 before those who fear youb will I fulfill my vows.2426
The poor will eat25 and be satisfied; they who seek the LORD will praise him--26 may your hearts live forever!
All the ends of the earth27 will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him,28
