Do not drag me away with the wicked, with those who do evil, who speak cordially with their neighbors but harbor malice in their hearts.1

Repay them for their deeds and for their evil work; repay them for what their hands have done2 and bring back upon them what they deserve.3

Since they show no regard for the works of the LORD and what his hands have done,4 he will tear them down and never build them up again.

Praise be to the LORD,5 for he has heard my cry for mercy.6

The LORD is my strength7 and my shield; my heart trusts8 in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy9 and I will give thanks to him in song.10

The LORD is the strength11 of his people, a fortress of salvation12 for his anointed one.13
9
Save your people14 and bless your inheritance;15 be their shepherd16 and carry them17 forever.
