Psalm 32:1-7 (New International Version)

View In My Bible

Of David. A "maskil."

1 Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.1 2 Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him2 and in whose spirit is no deceit.3 3 When I kept silent,4 my bones wasted away5 through my groaning6 all day long. 4 For day and night your hand was heavy7 upon me; my strength was sapped8 as in the heat of summer. "Selah" 5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity.9 I said, "I will confess10 my transgressions11 to the LORD"-- and you forgave the guilt of my sin.12 "Selah" 6 Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you while you may be found;13 surely when the mighty waters14 rise,15 they will not reach him.16 7 You are my hiding place;17 you will protect me from trouble18 and surround me with songs of deliverance.19 "Selah"
