Save me1 from bloodguilt,2 O God, the God who saves me,3 and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.415
O Lord, open my lips,5 and my mouth will declare your praise.
You do not delight in sacrifice,6 or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
The sacrifices7 of God area a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart,8 O God, you will not despise.
In your good pleasure make Zion9 prosper; build up the walls of Jerusalem.1019
Then there will be righteous sacrifices,11 whole burnt offerings12 to delight you; then bulls13 will be offered on your altar.
