For the sins of their mouths,1 for the words of their lips,2 let them be caught in their pride.3 For the curses and lies they utter,

They return at evening, snarling like dogs, and prowl about the city.
They wander about for food6 and howl if not satisfied.
But I will sing7 of your strength,8 in the morning9 I will sing of your love;10 for you are my fortress,11 my refuge in times of trouble.1217
