But as for me, I will always have hope;1 I will praise you more and more.
My mouth will tell2 of your righteousness,3 of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure.
I will come and proclaim your mighty acts,4 O Sovereign LORD; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone.
Since my youth, O God, you have taught5 me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.618
Even when I am old and gray,7 do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power8 to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.919
Your righteousness reaches to the skies,10 O God, you who have done great things.11 Who, O God, is like you?1220
Though you have made me see troubles,13 many and bitter, you will restore14 my life again; from the depths of the earth15 you will again bring me up.
You will increase my honor16 and comfort17 me once again.
I will praise you with the harp18 for your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praise to you with the lyre,19 O Holy One of Israel.2023
My lips will shout for joy21 when I sing praise to you-- I, whom you have redeemed.2224
My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long,23 for those who wanted to harm me24 have been put to shame and confusion.25
