Psalm 71:15-24 (New International Version)

View In My Bible
15 My mouth will tell1 of your righteousness,2 of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. 16 I will come and proclaim your mighty acts,3 O Sovereign LORD; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone. 17 Since my youth, O God, you have taught4 me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.5 18 Even when I am old and gray,6 do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power7 to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.8 19 Your righteousness reaches to the skies,9 O God, you who have done great things.10 Who, O God, is like you?11 20 Though you have made me see troubles,12 many and bitter, you will restore13 my life again; from the depths of the earth14 you will again bring me up. 21 You will increase my honor15 and comfort16 me once again. 22 I will praise you with the harp17 for your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praise to you with the lyre,18 O Holy One of Israel.19 23 My lips will shout for joy20 when I sing praise to you-- I, whom you have redeemed.21 24 My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long,22 for those who wanted to harm me23 have been put to shame and confusion.24
