View In My Bible
3 My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before you. 4 For you have upheld my right1 and my cause;2 you have sat on your throne,3 judging righteously.4 5 You have rebuked the nations5 and destroyed the wicked; you have blotted out their name6 for ever and ever. 6 Endless ruin has overtaken the enemy, you have uprooted their cities;7 even the memory of them8 has perished. 7 The LORD reigns forever;9 he has established his throne10 for judgment. 8 He will judge the world in righteousness;11 he will govern the peoples with justice.12 9 The LORD is a refuge13 for the oppressed,14 a stronghold in times of trouble.15 10 Those who know your name16 will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken17 those who seek you.18 11 Sing praises19 to the LORD, enthroned in Zion;20 proclaim among the nations21 what he has done.22 12 For he who avenges blood23 remembers; he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.24 13 O LORD, see how my enemies25 persecute me! Have mercy26 and lift me up from the gates of death,27
