For in this hope we were saved.1 But hope that is seen is no hope at all.2 Who hopes for what he already has?
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.326
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit4 himself intercedes for us5 with groans that words cannot express.
And he who searches our hearts6 knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes7 for the saints in accordance with God's will.
And we know that in all things God works for the good8 of those who love him,a whob have been called9 according to his purpose.1029
For those God foreknew11 he also predestined12 to be conformed to the likeness of his Son,13 that he might be the firstborn14 among many brothers.
And those he predestined,15 he also called;16 those he called, he also justified;17 those he justified, he also glorified.18
