28
And we know that in all things God works for the good3 of those who love him,a whob have been called4 according to his purpose.529
For those God foreknew6 he also predestined7 to be conformed to the likeness of his Son,8 that he might be the firstborn9 among many brothers.
30
And those he predestined,10 he also called;11 those he called, he also justified;12 those he justified, he also glorified.1331
What, then, shall we say in response to this?14 If God is for us,15 who can be against us?1632
He who did not spare his own Son,17 but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
33
Who will bring any charge18 against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.
34
Who is he that condemns?19 Christ Jesus, who died20--more than that, who was raised to life21--is at the right hand of God22 and is also interceding for us.2335
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?24 Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?2536
As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."c2637
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors27 through him who loved us.28
