Deuteronomy 11:18

18 "1You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead *.

Deuteronomy 11:18 Meaning and Commentary

Ver. 18-20. Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart, and
in your soul
Treasure up the laws of God delivered to them in their minds, retain them in their memories, and cherish a cordial affection for them; which would be an antidote against apostasy, idolatry, and other sins, ( Psalms 119:11 )

and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets
between your eyes;
