Ezekiel 5:3

Thou shall also take thereof a few in number
These are they that were left in the land of Judea by Nebuzaradan, for vinedressers and husbandmen, and such as returned out of Egypt into the land of Judah, ( Jeremiah 44:28 ) ( 52:16 ) ; and bind them in thy skirts;
in the pockets of them; signifying both the very small number of them, and their preservation. Jarchi and Kimchi interpret these of those that were carried captive to Babylon, and lived there, and were preserved, and returned again.

Ezequiel 5:3 In-Context

1 Y tú, hijo de hombre, tómate un cuchillo agudo, una navaja de barbero toma, y hazla pasar sobre tu cabeza y tu barba; tómate después un peso de balanza, y reparte los pelos .

2 La tercera parte quemarás con fuego en medio de la ciudad, cuando se cumplieren los días del cerco, y tomarás la otra tercera parte, y herirás con cuchillo alrededor de ella; y la otra tercera parte esparcirás al viento, y yo desenvainaré espada en pos de ellos.

3 Tomarás de allí unos pocos por cuenta, y los atarás en el canto de tu ropa.

4 Y tomarás otra vez de ellos, y los echarás en mitad del fuego, y en el fuego los quemarás; de allí saldrá el fuego en toda la Casa de Israel.

5 Así dijo el Señor DIOS: Esta es Jerusalén: yo la puse en medio de los gentiles y de las tierras alrededor de ella.
