"In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes1 of Judah2 and Jerusalem,
I will gather3 all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.4 There I will enter into judgment5 against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered6 my people among the nations and divided up my land.
They cast lots7 for my people and traded boys for prostitutes; they sold girls for wine8 that they might drink.
"Now what have you against me, Tyre and Sidon9 and all you regions of Philistia?10 Are you repaying me for something I have done? If you are paying me back, I will swiftly and speedily return on your own heads what you have done.11
For you took my silver and my gold and carried off my finest treasures to your temples.12
You sold the people of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks,13 that you might send them far from their homeland.
"See, I am going to rouse them out of the places to which you sold them,14 and I will return15 on your own heads what you have done.
I will sell your sons16 and daughters to the people of Judah,17 and they will sell them to the Sabeans,18 a nation far away." The LORD has spoken.19
Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare for war!20 Rouse the warriors!21 Let all the fighting men draw near and attack.
Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks22 into spears.23 Let the weakling24 say, "I am strong!"25
Come quickly, all you nations from every side, and assemble26 there. Bring down your warriors,27 LORD!
"Let the nations be roused; let them advance into the Valley of Jehoshaphat,28 for there I will sit to judge29 all the nations on every side.
Swing the sickle,30 for the harvest31 is ripe. Come, trample the grapes,32 for the winepress33 is full and the vats overflow-- so great is their wickedness!"
Multitudes,34 multitudes in the valley35 of decision! For the day of the LORD 36 is near in the valley of decision.37
The sun and moon will be darkened, and the stars no longer shine.38
The LORD will roar39 from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem;40 the earth and the heavens will tremble.41 But the LORD will be a refuge42 for his people, a stronghold43 for the people of Israel.
"Then you will know44 that I, the LORD your God,45 dwell in Zion,46 my holy hill.47 Jerusalem will be holy;48 never again will foreigners invade her.49
"In that day the mountains will drip new wine,50 and the hills will flow with milk;51 all the ravines of Judah will run with water.52 A fountain will flow out of the LORD's house53 and will water the valley of acacias.54
But Egypt55 will be desolate, Edom56 a desert waste, because of violence57 done to the people of Judah, in whose land they shed innocent blood.
Judah will be inhabited forever58 and Jerusalem through all generations.
Shall I leave their innocent blood unpunished?59 No, I will not.60" THE LORD DWELLS IN ZION!61
