1 I will exalt you,1 my God the King;2 I will praise your name3 for ever and ever. 2 Every day I will praise4 you and extol your name5 for ever and ever. 3 Great6 is the LORD and most worthy of praise;7 his greatness no one can fathom.8 4 One generation9 commends your works to another; they tell10 of your mighty acts.11 5 They speak of the glorious splendor12 of your majesty-- and I will meditate on your wonderful works.a13 6 They tell14 of the power of your awesome works--15 and I will proclaim16 your great deeds.17 7 They celebrate your abundant goodness18 and joyfully sing19 of your righteousness.20 8 The LORD is gracious and compassionate,21 slow to anger and rich in love.22 9 The LORD is good23 to all; he has compassion24 on all he has made. 10 All your works praise you,25 LORD; your faithful people extol26 you.27 11 They tell of the glory of your kingdom28 and speak of your might,29 12 so that all people may know of your mighty acts30 and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.31 13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,32 and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is trustworthy33 in all he promises34 and faithful in all he does.b 14 The LORD upholds35 all who fall and lifts up all36 who are bowed down.37 15 The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food38 at the proper time. 16 You open your hand and satisfy the desires39 of every living thing. 17 The LORD is righteous40 in all his ways and faithful in all he does.41 18 The LORD is near42 to all who call on him,43 to all who call on him in truth. 19 He fulfills the desires44 of those who fear him;45 he hears their cry46 and saves them.47 20 The LORD watches over48 all who love him,49 but all the wicked he will destroy.50 21 My mouth will speak51 in praise of the LORD. Let every creature52 praise his holy name53 for ever and ever.
