View In My Bible

For the director of music. According to" gittith. "A psalm of David."

1 LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name1 in all the earth! You have set your glory2 above the heavens.3 2 Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold4 against your enemies, to silence the foe5 and the avenger. 3 When I consider your heavens,6 the work of your fingers,7 the moon and the stars,8 which you have set in place, 4 what are mere mortals that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?a9 5 You have made themb a little lower than the heavenly beingsc10 and crowned themd with glory and honor.11 6 You made them rulers12 over the works of your hands;13 you put everything under theire feet:1415 7 all flocks and herds,16 and the animals of the wild,17 8 the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea,18 all that swim the paths of the seas. 9 LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!19
