for he knows how we are formed,1 he remembers that we are dust.215
As for mortals, their days are like grass,3 they flourish like a flower4 of the field;
the wind blows5 over it and it is gone, and its place6 remembers it no more.
But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children7--
with those who keep his covenant8 and remember9 to obey his precepts.1019
The LORD has established his throne11 in heaven, and his kingdom rules12 over all.
Praise the LORD,13 you his angels,14 you mighty ones15 who do his bidding,16 who obey his word.
Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,17 you his servants18 who do his will.
Praise the LORD, all his works19 everywhere in his dominion. Praise the LORD, my soul.20
