15 And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
19 And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
6 And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.
7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
18 Which wise men have told from their fathers, and have not hid it:
5 He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
31 Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done?
4 To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
37 I would declare unto him the number of my steps; as a prince would I go near unto him.
23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
9 Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.
33 The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.
4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.
3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
