50 Jesus answered and said to him, "Because I said to you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these."
25 and because He did not need anyone to testify concerning man, for He Himself knew what was in man.
11 "Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you do not accept our testimony.
18 "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
23 John also was baptizing in Aenon near Salim, because there was much water there; and people were coming and were being baptized -
16 For this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath.
18 For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
27 and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.
30 "I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

29 "I know Him, because I am from Him, and He sent Me." 30 So they were seeking to seize Him; and no man laid his hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.
39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
20 These words He spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one seized Him, because His hour had not yet come.
22 So the Jews were saying, "Surely He will not kill Himself, will He, since He says, 'Where I am going, you cannot come '?"
37 "I know that you are Abraham's descendants; yet you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you.
43 "Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word. 44 "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 "But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me.
47 "He who is of God hears the words of God; for this reason you do not hear them, because you are not of God."
16 Therefore some of the Pharisees were saying, "This man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath." But others were saying, "How can a man who is a sinner perform such signs?" And there was a division among them. 17 So they said to the blind man again, "What do you say about Him, since He opened your eyes?" And he said, "He is a prophet."
22 His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone confessed Him to be Christ, he was to be put out of the synagogue.
4 "When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 "A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers."
13 "He flees because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep.
17 "For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again.
26 "But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep.
33 The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God."
36 do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God '?
9 Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. 10 "But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him."
6 Now he said this, not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief, and as he had the money box, he used to pilfer what was put into it.
11 because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and were believing in Jesus.
18 For this reason also the people went and met Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign.

21 "But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me.
27 and you will testify also, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
3 "These things they will do because they have not known the Father or Me. 4 "But these things I have spoken to you, so that when their hour comes, you may remember that I told you of them. These things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you.
6 "But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.
9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; 11 and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.
17 Some of His disciples then said to one another, "What is this thing He is telling us, 'A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me'; and, 'because I go to the Father '?"
21 "Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world.
27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father.
32 "Behold, an hour is coming, and has already come, for you to be scattered, each to his own home, and to leave Me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
14 "I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
7 The Jews answered him, "We have a law, and by that law He ought to die because He made Himself out to be the Son of God."
42 Therefore because of the Jewish day of preparation, since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.
13 And they said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Lord , and I do not know where they have laid Him."
29 Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed."
17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord , You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Tend My sheep.
