1 Nàshí , Xīxījiā bìng dé yào sǐ . yà mó sī de érzi xiānzhī Yǐsaìyà qù jiàn tā , duì tā shuō , Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , nǐ dāng liú yí méng yǔ nǐde jiā , yīnwei nǐ bì sǐ , bùnéng huó le .

In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the LORD says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.”
2 Xīxījiā jiù zhuǎn liǎn chaó qiáng , dǎogào Yēhéhuá shuō ,

Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD,
3 Yēhéhuá a , qiú nǐ jìniàn wǒ zaì nǐ miànqián zĕnyàng cún wánquán de xīn , àn chéngshí xíngshì , yòu zuò nǐ yǎn zhōng suǒ kàn wéi shàn de . Xīxījiā jiù tòngkū le .

“Remember, LORD, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
4 Yǐsaìyà chūlai , hái méiyǒu dào zhōng yuàn ( yuàn huò zuò chéng ) , Yēhéhuá de huà jiù líndào tā , shuō ,

Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the LORD came to him:
5 Nǐ huí qù gàosu wǒ mín de jūn Xīxījiā shuō , Yēhéhuá nǐ zǔ Dàwèi de shén rúcǐ shuō , wǒ tīngjian le nǐde dǎogào , kànjian le nǐde yǎnleì , wǒ bì yīzhì nǐ . dào dì sān rì , nǐ bì shàng dào Yēhéhuá de diàn .

“Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the LORD.
6 Wǒ Bìjiā zēng nǐ shí wǔ nián de shòushu , bìngqiĕ wǒ yào jiù nǐ hé zhè chéng tuōlí Yàshù wáng de shǒu . wǒ wèi zìjǐ hé wǒ púrén Dàwèi de yuángù , bì bǎohù zhè chéng .

I will add fifteen years to your life. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my sake and for the sake of my servant David.’ ”
7 Yǐsaìyà shuō , dāng qǔ yī kuaì wúhuāguǒ bǐng lái . rén jiù qǔ le lái , tiē zaì chuāng shàng , wáng biàn quányù le .

Then Isaiah said, “Prepare a poultice of figs.” They did so and applied it to the boil, and he recovered.
8 Xīxījiā wèn Yǐsaìyà shuō , Yēhéhuá bì yīzhì wǒ , dào dì sān rì , wǒ néng shàng Yēhéhuá de diàn , yǒu shénme zhào tóu ne .

Hezekiah had asked Isaiah, “What will be the sign that the LORD will heal me and that I will go up to the temple of the LORD on the third day from now?”
9 Yǐsaìyà shuō , Yēhéhuá bì chéngjiù tā suǒ shuō de . zhè shì tā gĕi nǐde zhào tóu , nǐ yào rì yǐng xiàng qián jìn shí dù ne . shì yào wǎng hòu tuì shí dù ne .

Isaiah answered, “This is the LORD’s sign to you that the LORD will do what he has promised: Shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or shall it go back ten steps?”
10 Xīxījiā huídá shuō , rì yǐng xiàng qián jìn shí dù róngyi , wǒ yào rì yǐng wǎng hòu tuì shí dù .

“It is a simple matter for the shadow to go forward ten steps,” said Hezekiah. “Rather, have it go back ten steps.”
11 Xiānzhī Yǐsaìyà qiúgào Yēhéhuá , Yēhéhuá jiù shǐ Yàhāsī de rì guǐ xiàng qián jìn de rì yǐng , wǎng hòu tuì le shí dù .

Then the prophet Isaiah called on the LORD, and the LORD made the shadow go back the ten steps it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.
12 Nàshí , Bābǐlún wáng Bālā dàn de érzi bǐ luó dá Bālā dàn tīngjian Xīxījiā bìng ér quányù , jiù sòng shūxìn hé lǐwù gĕi tā .

At that time Marduk-Baladan son of Baladan king of Babylon sent Hezekiah letters and a gift, because he had heard of Hezekiah’s illness.
13 Xīxījiā tīng cóng shǐzhĕ de huà , jiù bǎ tā bǎo kù de jīnzi , yínzi , xiāngliào , guìzhòng de gāo yóu , hé tā wǔ kù de yīqiè jūn qì , bìng tā suǒyǒude cáibǎo , dōu gĕi tāmen kàn . tā jiā zhōng hé tā quán guó zhī neì , Xīxījiā méiyǒu yíyàng bù gĕi tāmen kàn de .

Hezekiah received the envoys and showed them all that was in his storehouses—the silver, the gold, the spices and the fine olive oil—his armory and everything found among his treasures. There was nothing in his palace or in all his kingdom that Hezekiah did not show them.
14 Yúshì xiānzhī Yǐsaìyà lái jiàn Xīxījiā wáng , wèn tā shuō , zhèxie rén shuō shénme . tāmen cóng nǎli lái jiàn nǐ . Xīxījiā shuō , tāmen cóng yuǎnfāng de Bābǐlún lái .

Then Isaiah the prophet went to King Hezekiah and asked, “What did those men say, and where did they come from?” “From a distant land,” Hezekiah replied. “They came from Babylon.”
15 Yǐsaìyà shuō , tāmen zaì nǐ jiā lǐ kànjian le shénme . Xīxījiā shuō , fán wǒ jiā zhōng suǒyǒude , tāmen dōu kànjian le . wǒ cáibǎo zhōng méiyǒu yíyàng bù gĕi tāmen kàn de .

The prophet asked, “What did they see in your palace?” “They saw everything in my palace,” Hezekiah said. “There is nothing among my treasures that I did not show them.”
16 Yǐsaìyà duì Xīxījiā shuō , nǐ yào tīng Yēhéhuá de huà ,

Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the LORD:
17 Rìzi bì dào , fán nǐ jiā lǐ suǒyǒude , bìng nǐ lièzǔ jīxù dào rújīn de , dōu yào beìlǔ dào Bābǐlún qù , bù liú xià yíyàng . zhè shì Yēhéhuá shuō de .

The time will surely come when everything in your palace, and all that your predecessors have stored up until this day, will be carried off to Babylon. Nothing will be left, says the LORD.
18 Bìngqiĕ cóng nǐ bĕn shēn suǒ shēng de zhòng zǐ , qízhōng bì yǒu beìlǔ qù zaì Bābǐlún wánggōng lǐ dāng taì jiān de .

And some of your descendants, your own flesh and blood who will be born to you, will be taken away, and they will become eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.”
19 Xīxījiā duì Yǐsaìyà shuō , nǐ suǒ shuō Yēhéhuá de huà shén hǎo . ruò zaì wǒde nián rì zhōng yǒu taìpíng hé wĕngù de jǐngkuàng , qǐbù shì hǎo ma .

“The word of the LORD you have spoken is good,” Hezekiah replied. For he thought, “Will there not be peace and security in my lifetime?”
20 Xīxījiā qíyú de shì hé tāde yǒng lì , tā zĕnyàng wā chí , wā gōu , yǐn shuǐ rù chéng , dōu xiĕ zaì Yóudà liè wáng jì shàng .

As for the other events of Hezekiah’s reign, all his achievements and how he made the pool and the tunnel by which he brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
21 Xīxījiā yǔ tā lièzǔ tóng shuì . tā érzi Mǎnáxī jiēxù tā zuò wáng .

Hezekiah rested with his ancestors. And Manasseh his son succeeded him as king.
