12 I beseech (thee), that [the] Egyptians say not, He led them out fellily (He led them out with an evil intent), to slay (them) in the hills, and to do them away from [the] earth; (let) thine ire cease, and be thou quemeful on the wickedness of thy people.

New International Version NIV

12 Why should the Egyptians say, ‘It was with evil intent that he brought them out, to kill them in the mountains and to wipe them off the face of the earth’? Turn from your fierce anger; relent and do not bring disaster on your people.
