12 Ma quando saran compiuti i settant’anni, io punirò il re di Babilonia e quella nazione, dice l’Eterno, a motivo della loro iniquità, e punirò il paese de’ Caldei, e lo ridurrò in una desolazione perpetua.

“But when the seventy years are fulfilled, I will punish the king of Babylon and his nation, the land of the Babylonians, for their guilt,” declares the LORD, “and will make it desolate forever.
