Luke 17:11-19

CEB 11 On the way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. NRS 11 On the way to Jerusalem Jesus was going through the region between Samaria and Galilee. CEB 12 As he entered a village, ten men with skin diseases approached him. Keeping their distance from him, NRS 12 As he entered a village, ten lepers approached him. Keeping their distance, CEB 13 they raised their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, show us mercy!" NRS 13 they called out, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" CEB 14 When Jesus saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." As they left, they were cleansed. NRS 14 When he saw them, he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were made clean. CEB 15 One of them, when he saw that he had been healed, returned and praised God with a loud voice. NRS 15 Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice. CEB 16 He fell on his face at Jesus' feet and thanked him. He was a Samaritan. NRS 16 He prostrated himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him. And he was a Samaritan. CEB 17 Jesus replied, "Weren't ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? NRS 17 Then Jesus asked, "Were not ten made clean? But the other nine, where are they? CEB 18 No one returned to praise God except this foreigner?" NRS 18 Was none of them found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" CEB 19 Then Jesus said to him, "Get up and go. Your faith has healed you." NRS 19 Then he said to him, "Get up and go on your way; your faith has made you well."
