Luke 23:26-56

CSB 26 As they led Him away, they seized Simon, a Cyrenian, who was coming in from the country, and laid the cross on him to carry behind Jesus. NIV 26 As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus. CSB 39 Then one of the criminals hanging there began to yell insults at Him: "Aren't You the Messiah? Save Yourself and us!" NIV 39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!” CSB 40 But the other answered, rebuking him: "Don't you even fear God, since you are undergoing the same punishment? NIV 40 But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? CSB 41 We are punished justly, because we're getting back what we deserve for the things we did, but this man has done nothing wrong." NIV 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” CSB 42 Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!" NIV 42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. ” CSB 43 And He said to him, "I assure you: Today you will be with Me in paradise."
