1 Alabad, siervos del SEÑOR, alabad el Nombre del SEÑOR

1 Praise the LORD.Praise the LORD, you his servants; praise the name of the LORD.

2 Sea el Nombre del SEÑOR bendito, desde ahora y para siempre

2 Let the name of the LORD be praised, both now and forevermore.

3 Desde el nacimiento del sol hasta donde se pone, sea alabado el Nombre del SEÑOR

3 From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the LORD is to be praised.

4 Alto sobre todos los gentiles es el SEÑOR; sobre los cielos es su gloria

4 The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens.

5 ¿Quién como el SEÑOR nuestro Dios? El que enaltece su habitación

5 Who is like the LORD our God, the One who sits enthroned on high,

6 que se abaje para ver en el cielo, y en la tierra

6 who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?

7 que levanta del polvo al pobre, y al menesteroso alza del estiércol

7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap;

8 para hacerlo sentar con los príncipes, con los príncipes de su pueblo

8 he seats them with princes, with the princes of his people.

9 que hace habitar en familia a la estéril, para que sea madre de hijos alegre. Alelu-JAH

9 He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD.
