How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2 Wǒ xīnli chóu suàn , zhōng rì chóukǔ , yào dào jǐshí ne . wǒde chóudí shēng gāo yēzhì wǒ , yào dào jǐshí ne .

How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Yēhéhuá wǒde shén a , qiú nǐ kàn gù wǒ , yīngyún wǒ , shǐ wǒ yǎnmù guāngmíng , miǎndé wǒ chén shuì zhì sǐ .

Look on me and answer, LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 Miǎndé wǒde chóudí shuō , wǒ shèng le tā . miǎndé wǒde dírén zaì wǒ yáodòng de shíhou xǐlè .

and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 Dàn wǒ yǐkào nǐde cíaì . wǒde xīn yīn nǐde jiùēn kuaìlè .

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 Wǒ yào xiàng Yēhéhuá gē chàng , yīn tā yòng hòu ēn dāi wǒ .

I will sing the LORD’s praise, for he has been good to me.
