1 ( Dàwèi de shī , jiāo yǔ líng zhǎng ) Yēhéhuá a , qiú nǐ zhĕngjiù wǒ tuōlí xiōngè de rén , bǎohù wǒ tuōlí qiángbào de rén .

Rescue me, LORD, from evildoers; protect me from the violent,
2 Tāmen xīn zhōng tú móu jiān è , chángcháng jùjí yào zhēng zhàn .

who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day.
3 Tāmen shǐ shétou jiān lì rú shé , zuǐlǐ yǒu huī shé de dúqì . ( xì lā )

They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent’s; the poison of vipers is on their lips.
4 Yēhéhuá a , qiú nǐ zhĕngjiù wǒ tuōlí è rén de shǒu , bǎohù wǒ tuōlí qiángbào de rén . tāmen tú móu tuī wǒ diēdǎo .

Keep me safe, LORD, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from the violent, who devise ways to trip my feet.
5 Jiāoào rén wèi wǒ àn shè wǎngluó hé shéng suǒ . tāmen zaì lùpáng pū xià wǎng , shè xià quān tào . ( xì lā )

The arrogant have hidden a snare for me; they have spread out the cords of their net and have set traps for me along my path.
6 Wǒ céng duì Yēhéhuá shuō , nǐ shì wǒde shén . Yēhéhuá a , qiú nǐ liú xīn tīng wǒ kĕnqiú de shēngyīn .

I say to the LORD, “You are my God.” Hear, LORD, my cry for mercy.
7 Zhǔ Yēhéhuá , wǒ jiùēn de lìliang a , zaì zhēng zhàn de rìzi , nǐ zhē bì le wǒde tóu .

Sovereign LORD, my strong deliverer, you shield my head in the day of battle.
8 Yēhéhuá a , qiú nǐ búyào suí è rén de xīnyuàn . búyào chéngjiù tāmende jì móu , kǒngpà tāmen zì gāo . ( xì lā )

Do not grant the wicked their desires, LORD; do not let their plans succeed.
9 Zhìyú nàxiē áng shǒu wéi kùn wǒde rén , yuàn tāmen zuǐchún de jiān è xiànhaì ( yuánwén shì zhē bì ) zìjǐ .

Those who surround me proudly rear their heads; may the mischief of their lips engulf them.
10 Yuàn huǒ tàn luō zaì tāmen shēnshang . yuàn tāmen beì diū zaì huǒ zhōng , pāo zaì shēn kēng lǐ , bùnéng zaì qǐlai .

May burning coals fall on them; may they be thrown into the fire, into miry pits, never to rise.
11 Shuō è yán de rén , zaì dì shang bìjiān lì bù zhù . huòhuàn bì liè qǔ qiángbào de rén , jiāng tā dǎdǎo .

May slanderers not be established in the land; may disaster hunt down the violent.
12 Wǒ zhīdào Yēhéhuá bì wèi kùnkǔ rén shēnyuān , bì wèi qióngfá rén biàn qū .

I know that the LORD secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy.
13 Yì rén bìyào chēngzàn nǐde míng . zhèngzhí rén bì zhù zaì nǐ miànqián .

Surely the righteous will praise your name, and the upright will live in your presence.
