Shīpiān 16

1 Shén a , qiú nǐ bǎoyòu wǒ , yīnwei wǒ tóukào nǐ .

1 Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.

2 Wǒde xīn nǎ , nǐ céng duì Yēhéhuá shuō , nǐ shì wǒde zhǔ . wǒde hǎo chù bú zaì nǐ yǐwaì .

2 I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”

3 Lún dào shìshang de shèng mín , tāmen yòu mĕi yòu shàn , shì wǒ zuì xǐyuè de .

3 I say of the holy people who are in the land, “They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”

4 Yǐ bié shén daìtì Yēhéhuá de , tāmende chóukǔ Bìjiā zēng . tāmen suǒ jiāo diàn de xuè wǒ bú xiànshang , wǒ zuǐchún yĕ bú tí biè shén de míng haó .

4 Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more. I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods or take up their names on my lips.

5 Yēhéhuá shì wǒde chǎnyè , shì wǒ bēi zhōng de fēn . wǒ suǒ dé de nǐ wèi wǒ chí shǒu .

5 LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure.

6 Yòng shéng liáng gĕi wǒde dì jiè , zuò luō zaì jiā mĕi zhī chù . wǒde chǎnyè shízaì mĕihǎo .

6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.

7 Wǒ bì chēngsòng nà zhǐjiào wǒde Yēhéhuá . wǒde xīncháng zaì yè jiān yĕ jǐngjiè wǒ .

7 I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.

8 Wǒ jiāng Yēhéhuá cháng bǎi zaì wǒ miànqián . yīn tā zaì wǒ yòubiān , wǒ biàn bú zhì yáodòng .

8 I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

9 Yīncǐ wǒde xīn huānxǐ , wǒde líng kuaìlè . wǒde ròushēn yĕ yào ānrán jūzhù .

9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,

10 Yīnwei nǐ bì bú jiāng wǒde línghún piē zaì yīnjiān . yĕ bú jiào nǐde shèng zhĕ jiàn xiǔ huaì .

10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.

11 Nǐ bìjiāng shēngmìng de dàolù zhǐshì wǒ . zaì nǐde miànqián yǒu mǎnzū de xǐlè . zaì nǐ yòushǒu zhōng yǒu yǒngyuǎn de fú lè .

11 You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
