1 Chronicles 7:15-16

15 Machir took a wife for Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister's name was Maacah. And the name of the second was Zelophehad, and Zelophehad had daughters.

16 Maacah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she named * him Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.

INTRODUCTION TO 1 CHRONICLES 7

In this chapter are given the genealogies of the tribes of Issachar, 1Ch 7:1-5 of Benjamin, 1Ch 7:6-12 Naphtali, 1Ch 7:13, of Manasseh, 1Ch 7:14-19 of Ephraim, 1Ch 7:20-29 and of Asher, 1Ch 7:30-40, even of the chief men of them; and their numbers are reckoned as in the times of David. The tribes of Dan and Zebulun are omitted.
