1 Cronache 3:1-8

1 Questi furono i figliuoli di Davide, che gli nacquero a Hebron: il primogenito fu Amnon, di Ahinoam, la Jzreelita; il secondo fu Daniel, da Abigail, la Carmelita;
2 il terzo fu Absalom, figliuolo di Maaca, figliuola di Talmai, re di Gheshur; il quarto fu Adonija, figliuolo di Hagghith;
3 il quinto fu Scefatia, di Abital; il sesto fu Ithream, di Egla, sua moglie.
4 Questi sei figliuoli gli nacquero a Hebron. Quivi regnò sette anni e sei mesi, e in Gerusalemme regnò trentatre anni.
5 E questi furono i figliuoli che gli nacquero a Gerusalemme: Scimea, Shobab, Nathan, Salomone: quattro figliuoli natigli da Bath-Shua, figliuola di Ammiel;
6 poi Jibhar, Elishama,
7 Elifelet, Noga, Nefeg, Jafia,
8 Elishama, Eliada ed Elifelet, cioè nove figliuoli.

This chapter gives an account of the sons of David, born to him both in Hebron and in Jerusalem, 1Ch 3:1-9, and of his successors in the kingdom, to the Babylonish captivity, 1Ch 3:10-16, and of his family, to the coming of the Messiah, 1Ch 3:17-24.
