Andhereindo I exercisemyself, to havealways a conscience void of offencetowardGod,and toward men.

Whereupon*certainJewsfromAsiafoundmepurifiedin the temple,neitherwithmultitude,norwithtumult.

Whoought to have been herebeforethee,andobject, if they hadoughtagainstme.

Or elseletthesesame here say, if they have foundany evil doinginme, while Istoodbefore the council,

Except it be forthisonevoice,that I criedstandingamongthem,Touchingtheresurrection of the deadI am called in questionbyyou this day.
